They Say I'm Doing Well
Author Sarah Michelle Lynch asked me to contribute an article for a book in aid of the mental health charity MIND. All the contributors had to write a piece with the theme 'They say I'm doing well' in mind. I wrote about my thoughts and feelings while on my long and arduous journey through treatment for thyroid cancer, which you can read about in the book by clicking on the link below:

This book is an amazing collaboration of poetry, prose and shorts. It gives real insight into the often unfair and exhausting mental health issues, including anxiety and depression. It is both uplifting, thought provoking and inspiring. A powerful example of how differing people can have very different opinions on how they feel, why they feel, and what they feel. Anyone who's had any element of these issues, or been touched by someone who has, should definetely read this book. It really does cover it all.
5 brilliant stars from me !
